

Renowned Ashtanga Yoga practitioner Chuck Miller writes: One does not need to be an practitioner of the Iyengar style to appreciate this text. The book starts with the question: “What is yoga?” and continues with the complete details of how more than 200 postures (asanas) should be performed. It is being referred to as the most complete, most practical en best illustrated work in the field of yoga, with more than 600 photo’s. This “Bible” in the field of yoga has been translated into many languages. This book, with a foreword by Yehudi Menuhin, is the biggest and most important work in the area of yoga, which was released for the first time in 1965.
